This module provides home visitors with knowledge and resources on tobacco cessation so they can encourage individuals to quit using tobacco products. (MOD206) (Jan 2016)

Course Objectives: 

Upon completion of this training, home visitors will gain knowledge and resources on tobacco cessation so they can encourage individuals to quit using tobacco products. Including:

  • Information on the health effects of secondhand and third hand smoke exposure
  • Specific information on tobacco use during and after pregnancy

As the Instructional Design and Technology Specialist/Application Systems Analyst, Sr for the Arkansas Home Visiting Network Training Institute Mona develops technology-based instructional and informational materials and interventions applying adult learning principles.
